These horses are well known for their stamina and endurance, as well as their excellent temperament.

Located on a magnificent NSW Mid North Coast hinterland property named "Kerewong" which encompasses 60 acres in the Lorne Valley only 40 minutes from Port Macquarie. Southern Cross Horse Treks is adjacent to the Kerewong State Forest with impressive views across the valleys to Comboyne Mountain. Kerewong connects with trails that extend across this 50,000 acres (20,000 hectares) of State Forest, renowned for its natural Australian beauty and wildlife.

The landscape is diverse and incredibly beautiful with undulating hills through eucalypt forests and pockets of rainforest. Horse Riders come from all around the world to experience the Australian bushland on horseback, with many international visitors partaking in the Southern Cross Horse Treks five - day riding program.
